Today, I found out why I haven’t received any Health Care benefits for the past 3 months. It is so ridiculous it could be funny. Except, it isn’t.
They can’t decide on who’s to pay for 1 day of sick leave in May : Health Care or Work !
And until they can make up their minds, I won’t get paid. At all.
I’ve been feeling kind of lost, lately.
As if I’m here … but not here at the same time …

Only one thing that can help me now … Restart the Series :
… where you stumble upon an (often unfamiliar) piece of information, and then see it over and over again.
For me, it’s been this lovely creature : the star-nosed mole. It’s been popping up everywhere lately.
According to various sources the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon kicks in when your brain gets particularly excited about what it has just learned, and so it starts looking for more of the same thing. So now that it’s looking, it finds.
I’m not entirely sure how I feel about getting this excited about star-nosed moles … Maybe I should be worried ?!
Sigh. The more books I read, the longer my ‘to read’ list seems to get.
I’ve been feeling exhausted lately. That is so annoying.
Some days, when I feel a bit more energetic, I go for a short walk … and then spend the next two days barely functioning. I have cotton in my head, and my body feels as if it has just performed some amazing physical feat.
Please, Mr BurnOut, go away now. Go and bug somebody else. I’ve got things to do.
Eating vegetarian truly is a luxury.
Look at this :
This morning, I went to the Medical Health Care office with some papers that they ‘urgently needed to have’ (again).
Office closed for a month, because, hey, it’s the holidays !
I went to the bank to get some cash.
And hey, account almost empty because, hey, I still haven’t been paid
by the Medical Health Care office, because, hey, they ‘urgently need some more papers’.
Next : the library.
And guess what ? Closed, because of the holidays …
I finally went to the supermarket to get some bread.
And hey ho ! It’s closed because, hey, it’s Monday !
This is such an unusual guy. He’s a writer, mathematician, and computer science professor at Silicon Valley.
If you’ve never read his books, and you like ‘out there’ (think ‘Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy’ for adults), you should give them a try. I promise you have never read anything like it before.
I recently discovered his blog. It is kind of ‘free flowing’, and has random (but beautiful !) pictures inserted throughout the text.
Rudy has been on my mind quite a bit, lately.
It seems like someone that doesn’t do much self-censoring.
That makes him so much more interesting than most other people …
More ‘natural looking’ clouds.
Romeo in close-up.
Oops. Definitely -not- platonic.
Three days & nights of unbridled love-making … These cats are LOUD !
More geoengineering ?
I hope this is just a platonic thing …
